‘Longsha camping site was my place of choice where I got a sea front tent to myself with the added bonus of a mattress for RM15 (R50) per night…Longsha campsite was on the quieter end of the beach which was completely to my liking and I spent my time snorkelling, jungle trekking, reading, playing bat and ball, making friends and smiling – a lot.’ – Ashleigh, read more by Ashleigh

The return boat trips from Marang to Kapas Island will cost you RM30. Don’t pay more than that!! Somehow, some boat operators may ask for more if you’re alone or when it is low season. To avoid that, please give us a ring or text us before you come. Otherwise, tell the boat operators that you’ll be staying with Longet.

Please be warned. Experience from other travelers tells that this is a sticky island. You are very likely to stay longer than you planned. So spare more time here!
